October 13, 2026 – Plus500, a global multi-asset fintech group, has conditionally agreed to acquire US brokerage firm Hedge Capital Markets, setting the stage for a broader trading and investing offering for American clients.
If completed, the acquisition would extend Plus500’s US capabilities beyond futures and prediction markets into securities, paving the way for access to stocks, options and exchange-traded funds. For more information about its existing US futures offering, see our Plus500 Futures review.
At the centre of the expansion is a planned multi-asset super-app, expected to launch in the first quarter of 2027. The platform would bring these markets together in one trading and investing experience, giving clients a wider choice of products without needing to move between separate applications.
For clients, that could mean greater flexibility in how they participate in financial markets—from investing in individual stocks and ETFs to trading options and futures or accessing prediction markets. Bringing these products into one platform could make it easier to explore different opportunities and choose instruments that suit their objectives.
Existing US clients could benefit from a wider product range, while new clients would gain a single destination for multiple trading and investing needs. The ambition is not simply to add more products, but to make accessing them more convenient through a connected experience.
Plus500 has also established a New York operational hub alongside its existing Chicago operations, strengthening the US infrastructure supporting its expansion.
The proposed transaction builds on the Group’s investment in proprietary technology and its strategy to broaden its product range, with a clear client-focused goal: more markets, greater choice and one platform.
The acquisition has not yet completed and remains subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions. The expanded offering is planned rather than immediately available.
