Successful Trades: EUR/USD & GBP/USD - 8 April 2015

Trades placed by OptionFair

GBP/USD

According to Christopher Lewis's analysis of the GBP/USD, “it appears that the market is going to continue to drive lower, as we continue to consolidate in general. I think that the US dollar continues to be the favored currency around the world, so it’s very difficult to imagine that the British pound is going to suddenly take off to the upside against it.”. That creates an investment opportunity on the instruments: “Low”, “Touch Down” and “No Touch Up”.

I logged in the OptionFair™ binary options trading platform and I traded $1200 on the "Low" instrument. This kind of option has a return of 80% if the option will close below the target price, which means that if the signal is correct I could get a return of $960 on my investment.

The target price for GBP/USD at the buying time (11:42) was 1.48983 for the expiration of 12:00. The Asset closed on 1.48950 and I made $960.

EUR/USD

According to Christopher Lewis’s analysis of the EUR/USD, “With that being the case, looks like the market is going to continue to go much lower, although there is a bit of a support barrier in the region of the 1.0750 region. Nonetheless, I do think that eventually we break down below there and head towards the 1.05 handle. There are a lot of different reasons why this could happen, but quite frankly I think that one of the biggest reasons could be the FOMC Meeting Minutes coming out today”. That creates an investment opportunity on the instruments: “Low”, “Touch Down” and “No Touch Up”.

I logged in the OptionFair™ binary options trading platform and I traded $1200 on the "Touch Down" instrument. This kind of option has a return of 75% if the option touches the strike price prior to expiry, which means that if the signal is correct, I could get a return of $900 on my investment.

The price for EUR/USD at the buying time (11:59) was 1.08645 and the target price was 1.1.08594 for the expiration of 12:15. The asset touched my target price at 12:00 and I made $900.
