Pros and Cons
- Reasonably priced.
- Simplifies complex ideas beautifully.
- Helps traders stay focused on a singular course.
- Forex forum displays posts backwards.
There are hundreds of Forex courses available on the internet, but choosing one can be almost as complicated as the actual trading itself. After all, how should a new trader know which Forex course or trading strategy will help him find his footing in the market? Forex course reviews can help make this decision easier, and in this review we’re focusing on Forex School Online, a Forex course that has carved a unique place for itself in the saturated market, by focusing on the specific aspect of Forex trading known as price action trading. We actually found this singular focus to be refreshing, as many new traders fail to find the proper trading strategy because they get confused between their options or mix up different strategies entirely.
Forex School Online was created by an Australian-based Forex trader named Johnathon Fox, who continues to manage the website and respond to traders’ questions and forum posts in the members-only Forex forum. Mr. Fox writes with a direct, conversational tone which is more inviting than many of the Forex courses we’ve tested that seem to be overly complex in their efforts towards professionalism. Traders can browse through dozens of articles to get an overview of the price action trading system and to gain a full understanding of what to expect in the Forex School Online course.
The Forex School Online course is a 126 page PDF that traders are encouraged to read (and re-read) slowly so that they can fully understand the intricacies of price action trading. Mr. Fox makes an effort to explain the concept from start to finish, and to emphasize the risk to reward ratio, so that traders can understand exactly what they’re getting into. Unlike many other trading strategies, price action trading needn’t be extremely risky, making it a good option for those new to Forex trading.
A look at the Forex School Online PDF
New Forex traders may not immediately understand the benefits of price action trading, but what makes Forex School Online stand out is the fact that the service introduces the concept before demanding payment. Unlike many other Forex courses or mentors that promise results upon payment, Forex School Online explains the principle ideas up-front, so that traders can see if they can relate to this Forex trading strategy before committing.
Another benefit of the Forex School Online is that it has a Forex forum that focuses only on highly relevant issues. Traders can easily determine where to post their questions or insights because the forum is geared towards those trading with price action strategies. The forum can best be described as intimate, as it caters to an elite clientele of paid, registered members. Traders who have purchased the Forex course can register for the forum for free, but are not granted access until this secondary registration is complete.
Main page of the Forex forum
We truly appreciated the fact that the forum allows users to choose the view that they want, from classic view (which shows snippets), to a list view of all the topics, to the threaded view which shows the progression of each conversation.
The price for the Forex School Online course is only $249 AUD for a lifetime membership, which is a notably reasonable price considering the abundance of information provided. Payment is accepted via PayPal, though it seemed like traders could use credit cards via the PayPal payment processor.
Overall, we found the Forex School Online to provide solid information, a pleasant writing style and an excellent value for traders looking for a single Forex strategy upon which to base a long-term trading career.
