Fullerton Markets is a New Zealand-based Forex brokerage that claims to be the fastest growing broker in Asia. The company was founded by Mario Singh, a Forex industry veteran who previously worked at FXPRIMUS, another large Asian brokerage. The firm is very new so there is very little information available about their customer satisfaction history. The current discussion in online forums seems to be quite positive.

Services

Fullerton Markets’ services are available globally. Spot Forex is available to everyone including New Zealand residents but derivatives are not available yet to New Zealanders as the company is waiting for their Derivatives Issuers License. They are regulated by the Financial Markets Authority in New Zealand.

Fund Safety

Fund safety is an important issue at Fullerton Markets, as it should be for every Forex brokerage. They keep their customers’ funds segregated and these funds are managed by trust accounts with Kiwi Global Ltd. What seems to be an extra level of protection and unique among the brokerages we have reviewed recently is the insurance. The Kiwi Global trust accounts are insured by AIG against valid claims of misappropriation or staff negligence. The fees for the trust are waived for deposits over $1500 US and the fees for the insurance are waived for deposits over $3000 US. For deposits of less than these minimums the fees are one time and are only $50 for the trust and $50 for the insurance. This seems more than fair and provides an extra level of confidence in the way your funds will be managed and secured.

Trading Account & Leverage

This brokerage firm offers one type of account only. A live trading account comes with a leverage of 1:500 which is very high. Most brokerages offer 1:100 or 1:200. The spreads are variable, starting at 0.3 pips. Fullerton Markets requires a minimum trade size of 0.01 lots or a mini lot. This account also comes with 24-hour live chat customer support. The demo accounts have basically the same parameters. They offer a few different ways to fund your account and to withdraw the funds. Most of the types of funding have a minimum deposit of $100.

The instruments that are traded by Fullerton Markets are Forex, Metals, CFD indices and Crude Oil. Each type of trading is explained and has its own details, parameters and their website explains the calculations and timing of these trades very clearly.

Trading Platform

MetaTrader 4 is the platform available to Fullerton Markets’ customers. This of course is a popular and familiar trading platform with most traders and the information that is needed to download it or use it correctly with this brokerage is available in the FAQs on their website.

Partnerships

Fullerton Markets has a partnership with Tradency, a financial technology provider. Tradency has a platform for mirror trading that customers of Fullerton Markets can take full advantage of with a live trading account.

Fullerton Markets has several different promotions listed on their website although all but two are expired or finished.

Despite the fact that Fullerton Markets is a fairly new brokerage with a relatively narrow reach, its top-level security and experienced team of founders gives it a substantial edge over other brokerages. Though the company is relatively small at the moment, we wouldn’t be disappointed to see it grow and expand its offerings in the coming years.
