Feels funny to actually write the title today, is there something as overtrading? Unfortunately yes there is. Some can even call it obsession or even a situation where it gets out of control.
People sometimes are afraid of losing the ultimate trade. So they usually get stuck to their monitors most of the day and even possibly the night during the trading week. Some people are afraid that going to the bathroom would mean that a possible trade that is going to make the day will form up and that they would not be in front of the monitor to take that ultimate opportunity.
Well it is possible to lose some trading opportunities and even some very good ones but do not despair just for that. The FOREX market is open 24 hours a day and almost all the week, it is full of potential trades if you have a serious trading plan in place. Money making opportunities are constantly on the table, just a matter of being concentrated enough to understand the signals.
Just for this sometimes I would suggest you even take a day off the markets sometimes in order to relax and unwind a little without the screens, than go back with more confidence and with possibly a clearer mind which will help you in the trading days and hours.
Overtrading is when you start not having a life or not even being able to get away from the monitor, so if you have these symptoms please seek help! Honestly do I am not joking. If you are unable to stay out of the markets for a few days or even weeks since you have a day job and you do not depend your family income from it please be careful.
