Social Sharing
  • 02 June, 2009 GMT

We are going to be reviewing Forex blogs on a weekly basis. We will try to cover any and all information we think will interest our readers. Please send us feedback or review suggestions to [email protected]

ForexCrunch
ForexCruch is run and maintained by Yohay Elam. It is updated daily, offers relevant and interesting information, and is pleasant on the eye. The blog now includes analysis, both daily and weekly, and is being improved all the time. According to Yohay, Forex Crunch will include tutorials, basics of the forex market, daily and weekly forex analysis, technical analysis, and forex software posts.

I had a chance to interview Yohay. You can read the questions and answers below.
-Please tell us a little bit about yourself including your name, your profession, and your location in approximately 50 words or less.
-"My name is Yohay Elam. I'm 32 years old, work as a computer programmer and I live in Tel Aviv, Israel. Apart from forex, I play on my base guitar".

-How long have you been involved in the Forex market?
-"I've been involved in the forex market for about 4 years. I was trained and then began trading with various brokers".

-How long have you been blogging?
-"I have been blogging in the past 6 months on ForexCrunch. My blog includes weekly and daily outlooks, technical analysis, and various opinions".

-Who is your primary audience?
-"My primary audience is forex traders, mostly from the US and Britain.I write in English".

-Why should someone read your blog?
-"People who are interested in forex trading should read my blog. I stand out for having a more personal touch. I don't write for any company, so my writing is sincere. I bring the open attitude from the blogosphere into a world where writing is dominated by brokers".

-In your opinion, what are the main advantages of the Forex market?
-"The main advantages of the forex market are its high volume, constant trading and that there's always a currency that goes up. I also find it fascinating that macro-economic and geo-political events move the market, and not interests of share holders. In troubled times like these, I find forex to be the best option. And it's fun"!

Conclusion: We were very impressed with ForexCrunch, here is a short list of its advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages: Well organized; updated frequently; offers many different types of information; very responsive to our email.

Disadvantages: Lacking content such as articles and tutorials; writing could be improved

Final Words: We really enjoyed reading ForexCrunch, it is a very professional blog, which can be a useful tool to any Forex trader.
