One of the more refreshing elements of the website from FX Universal is its initial simplicity. Right next to the company’s logo one finds the phrase “World Class Online Forex Trading”– a simple mission statement indeed. Along the top of the page run the headings: HOME, LEARN, TRADE, PLATFORMS, SIGNALS, TOOLS, and ABOUT. The overall impression is one that promises ease of use, at the very least.

The ABOUT section describes FX Universal LLC as “a world class provider of Forex (foreign exchange) and spot metal trading services”. Unlike some other similar sites that feature brief histories of the firms offering such services FX Universal has chosen to skip providing even a hint as to how the company came to be.

A certain amount of assurance of integrity and experience that might normally be provided by a company history is perhaps furnished by a mention in the FX Universal company profile that all FX Universal client funds are deposited with FX Solutions and that FX Solutions is accountable to the stringent standards of capital adequacy and financial reporting enforced by the National Futures Association.

FX Universal’s services include instant access to the foreign exchange market and the ability to speculate in 28 of the worlds most commonly traded currency pairs as well as spot gold and silver. FX Universal also makes real-time streaming quotes available. Additionally it offers charting with proprietary price feed, tight spreads, and integrated streaming news.

The two platforms that help to provide FX Universal’s services are Global Trading System (GTS) and MetaTrader 4. GTS is a suite of proprietary software developed by FX Solutions featuring one-click trading, automatic execution and multiple order types. MetaTrader 4 is accurately described as the industry’s leading platform for Forex trading and is used by a number of competing websites and companies that offer similar services. Free demos are available for both platforms. These promise to allow those new to Forex to experience real-time Forex trading without the risk that such trading normally poses.
